Haley has been teaching high school science and coaching Science Olympiad at Loyola Academy since 2015. She became head coach in 2018. Her specialties are biological sciences, especially human anatomy and physiology and biotechnology. In her free time she enjoys plants, her cats, and reading science fiction. Her favorite event in SciOly is WIDI.

Sara has been teaching 8th grade science at Old Orchard Junior High for 16 years, she also taught in Hampton, Virginia for 2 years before she came to Skokie. She has enjoyed going to State and showing the kids around her Alma Mater, the University of Illinois where she majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. She also coaches Cheerleading and 6th Grade Volleyball. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, two girls and competing in conformation with her Swedish Vallhunds. Her favorite event to help with at University of Illinois is Write It, Do It.

- B and C Schedule – please see email after regional meeting on January 29th at 6:00pm. We are unable to share due to homerooms being linked.
- Self-Schedule opens February 27th at 6 PM and close on March 11th at 3 PM.

TOURNAMENT LOGISTICS

Will take place in TenHoeve 1604, 1606, 1608 and 1610 from 3:00-4 PM. We will try to get started as close to 3 PM as possible but it could run a little behind getting the last scores in.

Oakton Community College is an open and unsecured campus. Anyone can come and go on campus. Coaches need to keep an eye on their students. Students should NOT go wandering off by themselves.
Please ask students to leave all personal belongings in the homeroom. Students who bring personal belongings to an event will be asked to place all belongings at the front (or back) of the event room.
Cellphones MUST be turned off and put inside a personal belonging that is left at the front (or back) of the room. Phones may NOT be kept on a student during an event. Students found with cellphones may be asked to leave the event.
